Ministry in Micronesia

Our Micronesian connection started in 2006 when Pastor Brad and Cheryl Boydston moved to Guam to serve as Covenant missionaries at Pacific Islands University. When they moved to Phoenix in 2009 to start MasterPiece Church they continued their ministry with the school and churches in Micronesia.

Specifically:
  • We share in the financial support of Karyn Sorenson, who teaches and provides counseling to both the university and Micronisian church communities.
  • Pastor Brad continues to teach online classes (spiritual formation, church planting, world religions...) for PIU and makes regular trips to the islands to teach and develop relationships with emerging church leaders in the Western Pacific.
  • We occasionally host students and events for the Micronesian community in the Phoenix area.
The Micronesian Islands and Guam are located in the Western Pacific Ocean, about 2,500 km south of Tokyo and the same distance from Manila.
