MiniChurches

For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. ~ Jesus (Matthew 18:20)

MasterPiece MiniChurches are small gatherings that can happen anytime during the week. They meet for mutual encouragement and ministry. The agenda is built around three questions, usually based on the scripture passage(s) used in the most recent Sunday morning message.
  1. What have you learned from this passage? (head)
  2. What is God saying to you through this passage? (heart)
  3. What will you do as a result? (hands)
Beyond the three questions you can do as little or as much as you would like. MiniChurches do not require a lot of planning or organization. They can be as small as two or three people. They can be as large as perhaps 12. They might meet in someone's home each Wednesday or Thursday evening. Or it might be a few guys who get together for breakfast once a week. Perhaps you want to have a MiniChurch with a few people who walk together. Or maybe your MiniChurch will be comprised of people who all speak Spanish or Mandarin or Tagalog or ...

MiniChurches might decide that they're going to meet for a period of three or four months.

Anyone can start a MiniChurch -- even kids. No experience required. As a matter of fact there aren't any requirements beyond a commitment to meet together and the three core questions. I would, however, like to have someone designated as "coordinator" of each group. And I would like to know who is coordinating as well as who is involved -- just so that I know who is being cared for.

Thanks!
